49ers vs Seahawks – Richard Sherman Can’t Stop Talking About Michael Crabtree

Richard Sherman, Michael Crabtree

If anyone thought that a few months of not playing against each other will calm things down between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks and especially in the way Richard Sherman feels about Michael Crabtree, what comes next should be a bit surprising.

Even though Richard Sherman has already won – he finished with the Super Bowl trophy, while Michael Crabtree and the San Francisco 49ers lost in the NFC championship game, he still isn’t over the feud.

It’s not going to be something that goes away. I hope to play Crabtree every year for the rest of my career and choke him out. There’s not much else I can say about the subject. Nobody will understand it but him and me. That’s all that needs to be understood.

The feud seems to go back from before that game. Crabtree allegedly tried to stat a fight during the offseason before 2013 at charity event with Sherman. The bad blood between the two franchises when it comes to their parallel rise over the last few years, which includes two head coaches who also coached against each other in the Pac-12 conference of college football, simply adds to the hatred spiraling.

Sherman actually tried to be nice to Crabtree after the game. He told Crabtee ‘Hell of a game’ and offered his hand twice for Crabtree to shake. Crabtree instead pushed him in the face, which resulted in Sherman going on his famous rant.

Sherman loves to talk, maybe a bit too much. He has been propelled to celebrity status. Because of how good he is, but mostly because of what comes out of his mouth. Of being on the cover of Madden. Winning a championship and getting that contract isn’t going to slow him down, or deter him from actually living up to his claim of haunting Crabtree for the rest of their careers.
