Real Madrid beat Liverpool

The first day of Champions League matches in gameweek 4 gave us Real Madrid remaining perfect with a narrow 1-0 win over Liverpool, while Arsenal managed to mess up a three goal lead and an easy win over Anderlecht, somehow only leaving the match with a draw.

Group A

Juventus 3  Olympiakos 2: An entertaining and slightly crazy match in Turin. Juventus took the lead with a brilliant free kick from Andrea Pirlo, followed by an immediate equalizer by Alberto Botia. The Greek champions took the lead in the 61st minute through Delvin Ndinga, but an own goal by Roberto Gago and a winner from Paul Pogba a minute later put Juve back in an excellent position to finish in the top two.

Malmo 0  Atletico Madrid 2: The Spanish champions complete a 7-0 aggregate win over Malmo, with goals from Koke and Raul Garcia to make it easy for them.

Mikel Arteta (penalty), Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gave them a three goal lead by the 58th minute. Dortmund 4  Galatasaray 1: Dortmund forgot about their league problems and scored four past Galatasaray for the second time in a row. Marco Reus, Sokratis, Ciro Immobile and an own goal gave Dortmund their four goal lead, Hakan Balta scored for the poor visitors.
