College Football – Week 11 Scores & Standings

Mississippi State

While the top two teams in the nation, Mississippi State and Florida State had themselves something of a cakewalk weekend in week 11, below them havoc reigned, as number three Auburn lost while Oregon and Alabama got big wins in what should cement their place right now heading into the deciding days regarding the college football playoff.

#21 Clemson  34  Wake Forest 21: Clemson made things complicated for themselves but came away with the win, pulling away in the fourth quarter, led by a great performance from freshman receiver Artavis Scott with 8 receptions for 122 yards and a couple of touchdowns.

UT Martin 16  #1 Mississippi State 45: An easy day for the Bulldogs before the final gauntlet, as Dak Prescott threw a couple of touchdown passes and ran for another.

Virginia 20  #2 Florida State 34: The Cavaliers have made it tough on a number of teams this season and the Seminoles were no different. A bad day by Jameis Winston was countered by Karlos Williams running for two touchdowns.

Texas A&M 41  #3 Auburn 38: A big day for freshman quarterback Kyle Allen with four touchdown passes and just one interception while Auburn fumbled the ball as they tried to cap off an impressive fourth quarter comeback.

#4 Oregon 51  #17 Utah 27: One huge mistake by Kaelin Clay turned the game around as another huge performance from Marcus Mariota, throwing three touchdown passes and running for another got the Ducks closer to the promised land.

#5 Alabama 20  #16 LSU 13: The Tide come away with the huge overtime win in a game that saw both quarterbacks combine to complete just 28-of-71 passes.

#7 Kansas State 20  #6 TCU 41: A big win for the Horned Frogs to possibly take control of the Big 12, with Trevone Boykin throwing one touchdown pass and running for three more.

#14 Ohio State 49  #8 Michigan State 37: The biggest win for Urban Meyer since taking over in Columbus, as J.T. Barrett threw three touchdown passes and ran for two more.

#10 Notre Dame 31  #9 Arizona State 55: The Irish turned the ball over five times and couldn’t come back from that hole, ending their chances of appearing in the playoff.

Presbyterian 0  #11 Ole Miss Rebels 48: An easy day out for the Rebels against an FCS team, with freshman running back Jordan Wilkins going for 171 yards on just 10 carries.

#12 Baylor 48  #15 Oklahoma 14: A marquee win for the program in Norman, no longer a place teams fear, as Corey Coleman caught 15 passes for 224 yards and one touchdown.

#18 UCLA 44  Washington 30: A big day for Brett Hundley, setting a new touchdown record for UCLA quarterbacks while throwing for two and running for two more.

Colorado 20  #19 Arizona 38: Anu Solomon was close to unstoppable with four passing touchdown and running for 105 more on 13 carries.

#20 Georgia 63  Kentucky 31: Isaiah McKenzie ran a punt return and a kickoff for a touchdown as Georgia bounced back from their loss to Florida.

#22 Duke 27  Syracuse 10: The Blue Devils carry on with a magical season with Issac Blankey catching 3 passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

#23 West Virginia 16  Texas 33: The mountaineers lose for a second game in a row while the Longhorns are at .500 again, carried by Jonathan Gray rushing for three touchdowns.

#24 Georgia Tech 56  North Carolina State 23: The Yellow Jackets ran for 479 yards, led by Synjyn Days with 157 yards and a touchdown.

#25 Wisconsin 34  Purdue 16: Another huge day for Melvin Gordon on the ground, rushing for 205 yards and a touchdown.
