The Arizona Cardinals keep on winning, so they remain on top of the power rankings despite another impressive victory for the New England Patriots, this time on the road, making it quite clear that they should be taken very seriously. Unlike the Oakland Raiders, remaining the only team without a win this season.

1. Arizona Cardinals, 9-1: With this kind of defense, it really doesn’t matter who is the quarterback.

2. New England Patriots, 7-2: Five consecutive wins and a big victory in Indianapolis without Tom Brady doing too well says how strong this team is at the moment.

3. Denver Broncos, 7-3 – Suddenly winning the division and finishing with the best record in the AFC got very complicated.

4. Green Bay Packers, 7-3: Aaron Rodgers is scorching, and in Lambeau there isn’t a way to fight it.

12. San Francisco 49ers, 6-4: Defense keeps carrying them and the shaky throwing arm of Colin Kaepernick.

13. Philadelphia Eagles, 7-3: For a team with such a good record, they have had too many games of flat out sucking offensively.

14. Cincinnati Bengals, 6-3-1: Keeping Andy Dalton in simple restraints makes this team look like contenders in the AFC again.

15. San Diego Chargers, 6-4: There’s nothing like playing the Oakland Raiders in order to get a confident boost.

16. Miami Dolphins, 6-4: A very good defense and some clutch playmaking from Ryan Tannehill finally created some separation between them and the Buffalo Bills.

17. Houston Texans (5-5): The machine named J.J. Watt is having an MVP like season. It’s so far been enough, more or less, to hide their quarterback problems that also possibly been fixed.

18. Cleveland Browns (6-4): Just like the Bills (coming up next), there are too many times in which the Browns offense just stops working.

19. St. Louis Rams (4-6): Tre Mason is making the most of his extra carries, and the pass rush is looking fearsome again after a slow start to the season.

20. Buffalo Bills, 5-5: Going through the motions on offense with every game that goes by isn’t going to get this team into the playoffs.

21. Chicago Bears, 4-6: Jay Cutler went wild, made mistakes, but also big plays, as the Bears stopped a very painful losing streak.

22. New Orleans Saints, 4-6: The Rob Ryan defensive mind is shown up by a so-so offense once again.

23. Atlanta Falcons, 4-6: Playing in the NFC South means games are rather easy most of the time.

24. Minnesota Vikings, 4-6: As promising as it’s been under Teddy Bridgewater, this team hardly has offensive weapon that produce on a consistent basis.

25. Carolina Panthers, 3-7-1: Lost five in a row and are still in the playoff picture. That’s the NFC South this season.

26. New York Giants, 3-7: Eli Manning has completely regressed, playing at the same level of the rest of his dysfunctional teammates.

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 2-8: One of those rare moments when a win over a crappy team makes an equally bad team feel like they have something to build on.

28. New York Jets, 2-8: Got a nice, good rest before a series of games that will determine whether Rex Ryan gets to keep his job for another season.

29. Washington Redskins, 3-7: Continue to be worse off when Robert Griffin III is playing.

30. Tennessee Titans, 2-8: Rookie quarterback, rookie running back, and a whole lot of other things to improve or fix.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1-9: This team needs more than just one bye week to improve all it needs to.

32. Oakland Raiders, 0-10: Haven’t won a game in over a year.
