The wait that lasted for over a year is over. Everyone except Kansas City Chiefs fans are celebrating, through memes as well, the first win this season for the Oakland Raiders, who are hoping they don’t have to wait so long for another one.

It took another dramatic finish, which the Raiders have been involved with a couple of times this season, to secure the win, Derek Carr tossing the touchdown pass with less than two minutes to go. That, some big running from Murray (90 yards on his second touchdown) and a field that’s hard to play on made the day finally a happy one for the Raiders.

They’re still only 1-10, which means no playoffs, mathematically already out of the picture. But they’ve lost five games this season by just one touchdown. In the remaining five they have, there’s a shot of making this season seem a bit less pathetic.

For the Chiefs comes the biggest blow. Not just taking a big hit in their playoff campaign that includes trying to win the division from the Denver Broncos. It’s about the humiliation of being the first and only team possibly that loses to the Raiders in 2014.
