Another one and done playoff appearance for Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos results in a long list of memes making fun of his commercials and possible impending retirement, while Andrew Luck gets a mention here and there, mostly for looking like a caveman, but a happy one after the Indianapolis Colts won.
It’s hard to fathom the difference between Manning through September, October and parts of November to the one that looked terrible in December and stunk up the place in the postseason, getting booed off the field by Broncos fans.
Manning didn’t have any arm strength or accuracy when it came to long range passes. He wasn’t intercepted, bu the Broncos just scored six points and no touchdowns in the final 50 minutes of the game. It’s not only Manning, but a lot of it is on him.
Luck keeps improving his short but impressive resume thus far, winning his third postseason game in three years, setting up a reunion with Tom Brady. Manning, as most of the commercial memes point out, has some thinking to do regarding the rest of his career.
