Tottenham vs Arsenal – Goals & Highlights

Harry Kane

In another fantastic North London derby, Harry Kane was once again the hero for Tottenham, scoring twice to complete a Spurs comeback in the second half after Mesut Ozil opened the scoring for Arsenal.

It was a match of things going against the momentum. Tottenham were the better team in the first half but couldn’t find a way past Ospina, while Ozil scored from close range, beating a very close offside trap, off of a Santi Cazorla assist.

In the second half Arsenal took over the pitch after the whistle, but Tottenham equalized in the 56th minute after a bad bounce on a corner kick defending routine landed him in a very comfortable spot to score.

His second goal was simply a fantastic display of aerial superiority with terrific hang time to head the ball above Ospina, who seemed jittery all through the match, and seemed destined to make at least one costly mistake, be it by handling or positioning.

With the win, Spurs move up to fourth, one point ahead of Arsenal and Southampton (a match less) and on par with Manchester United, who also have a match to complete and try to create a gap between third and fourth.
