For the murder of Odin Lloyd, Aaron Hernandez will be going to jail for life without the possibility of parole. The Internet, as expected, made fun of the occasion with an endless spewing.

A lot of O.J. Simpson, plenty of film and TV references like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Waterboy, The Longest Yard and even the forgotten Prison Break.

They also made fun of Manti T’eo and his famous fake girlfriend story which is still difficult to figure out these days, two years after. There’s also a pretty awesome rendering of his face into a GTA poster, which fits the crime, and the history of Hernandez incidents.

A tight end that was a fantastic college player and very good pro for the New England Patriots turns out to have been leading a very dark and dangerous life outside the football pitch. It’s incredible how quickly things turn around for someone who was somewhat living his dream and thought he was untouchable.
