Another championship for Juventus, winning the Serie A for a fourth consecutive time and 31st overall, with Massimiliano Allegri as the new and successful manager, Carlos Tevez scoring at an incredible pace, Paul Pogba reaching a whole new level of excellence and distancing themselves even further from the rest of Italian football.

First Blood

First win

Juventus open the season with a 1-0 win over Chievo at the Bentegodi. Nothing too impressive. Just an own goal by Cristiano Biraghi, and we’re off.

Cooling Them Down

Carlos Tevez

Milan had a good start to the season, but they’re not at the level of even putting a dent in someone’s title challenge. The San Siro encounter wasn’t an easy one but Carlos Tevez was the difference with a 71st minute goal.

Disappointing Roma Again

Leonardo Bonucci

Fireworks always happen when Juventus and Roma clash. Two red cards, three penalty kicks, and one Leonardo Bonucci with an 86th minute winner to put Juventus ahead 3-2 in one of their most important victories this season.

Doing Well in Rome Also

Paul Pogba

Four weeks after their first loss of the season, Juventus won a third consecutive match in decisive fashion, beating Lazio 3-0 with a Paul Pogba brace. This was the third in a four match winning streak that during which Juventus scored 14 goals, conceding just once.

Taking Down Napoli

Paul Pogba volley

After three draws in four matches including drawing their first match of 2015 (vs Inter in Turin) Juventus went to Naples and took care of another so-called contender. Paul Pogba scored a wonderful goal but Napoli answered back with Miguel Britos. Martin Caceres of all players put them back in front and Arturo Vidal finished the job in extra time to claim a precious 3-1 away win.

Completing the Milan Double

Alvaro Morata

Another draw to open the month (0-0 at Udinese) had to be followed with an impressive performance, and Juve players delivered with a 3-1 victory over AC Milan, by then in big, mid-table trouble. Carlos Tevez opened the scoring, Luca Antonelli equalized, but Bonucci quickly put Juventus in front and Alvaro Morata made sure no surprises would occur with a second half goal.

Beating Lazio Again

Bonucci & Tevez

Sandwiched between two meaningless losses, Juventus claimed a second win over a red hot Lazio, beating the visitors 2-0 with goals from Tevez and Bonucci. The loss 8 days later in the derby did sting, but meant nothing in the long run.

Champions

Juventus win 2015 championship

Just a small, 1-0 victory. One 32nd minute goal from Arturo Vidal, and Juventus complete another Serie A title, their fourth in a row and 31st overall, although many Bianconeri count this as their 33rd. It’s now off to the Champions League semifinals with one less thing to worry about.
