One of the most likable superstars in the NBA right now, Stephen Curry beats James Harden, LeBron James and others for the 2014-2015 NBA regular season MVP award, giving meme makers a chance to celebrate and gloat.
James Harden was his main competition, but finished quite far behind. Was it the right decision? Was Curry the real MVP of this season? What is an MVP actually? Is being the best player on the best team enough? It seemed to be this season.
Most wouldn’t agree that Curry is the best player in the NBA, but it’s not about that. It’s about a certain context, in a certain season, and about being popular, and new. Curry fit the bill on all accounts.
