Bayern Munich vs Barcelona – Match Goals & Highlights

Despite Bayern Munich winning 3-2, Barcelona are back in the Champions League final for the first time since 2011 with a 5-3 aggregate win, getting a brace from Neymar, while Medhi Benatia, Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller scored for the overall losing side.

Carrying a 3-0 win from the first leg, Barcelona didn’t feel too stressed when Benatia scored a header in the 7th minute to put Bayern in a confident mood that they can actually do something.

The incredible combinations between Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez led to the two goals in the 15th and 29th minutes. Messi didn’t score, which would have helped him in his “battle” with Cristiano Ronaldo to claim the top spot in the Champions League scoring, this season and all-time, but his passing, something Ronaldo doesn’t have, made the difference.

Barcelona beat Bayern Munich

In the second half, Barcelona stopped playing while Bayern finally found their finishing touch. Lewandowski didn’t let the face mask get in the way and Muller scoring in the 74th minute actually made the 70,000 inside the Allianz Arena believe there is a chance they can turn things around.

But Ter Stegen made a couple of saves, Lionel Messi finally started touching the ball and slowing things down, and the momentum was lost. Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique hugged it out at the end, as Bayern Munich lose to a Spanish team in the semifinal for a second straight season. Barcelona, scorching at the right time of the season, have a chance to win a fifth title in the biggest European competition.
