A two day hiatus between NBA Finals games means more time to dive into what happened lately. Which is the Warriors crushing the Cavaliers, and LeBron James landing face front into a camera.
If it was any other player? They’d be talking about how brave he was playing with a gash in his head. But because it’s James, it’s OK for the world to make fun of him actually showing some pain. That’s the way it works for James, and has been for the last five years.
While most of the memes we aggregated and picked for you make fun of James, it’s not all about that. It has something to do with the amount of people suddenly cheering for the Warriors due to the hating James bandwagon. There’s also some fun at the expense of a Cavaliers fan getting a 2015 title tattoo, which might have been a bit premature.
And Dellavedova? Suddenly, he’s not the Curry stopper everyone has been praising him for. Not that Curry has been that great in the finals. But Dellavedova in game 4 looked nothing like the player who pulled off so many important plays for the Cavaliers in their time of need earlier in the series.
