The St. Louis Cardinals might have the best record in baseball, but they’re not shying away from more upgrades, looking for a trade that’ll improve them, setting their sights on First Baseman Adam Lind of the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Brewers are in complete sell mode, bottoming out in the NL Central and it seems almost everyone is up for grabs. Lind is in his first season with the Brewers after nine seasons in Toronto, hitting .285/.365/.500/.865, including 16 home runs and 58 RBIs.
The Cardinals (64-36) have a 5.5 game lead over the Pittsburgh Pirates in the NL Central, but just like the Kansas City Royals, who have been very busy over the last few days in adding depth and starting talent to the roster, the same goes for the Cardinals, hoping to make it one step further than last season in the playoffs.
