While there’s nothing to go on but what Stephen Curry tweeted, it’s not that surprising to hear about someone taking their desire for an autograph a little bit too far.
According to a tweet by Curry, he got tailed for about 30 miles by a fan while he was driving with his (Curry’s) family in order to get his autograph. It’s not quite clear what happened in the end.
PSA. Noticeably following my family’s car on the road for nearly 30 miles & tailing me the whole way is not the best way to get an autograph

In any case, this is beyond creepy, and who knows, maybe even dangerous. Sure, sometimes fans do go a little overboard in their attempts to get closer to famous players and celebrities in general, but there’s a line that doesn’t need to be crossed. And pretty much stalking someone on the highway for half an hour sounds like he or she went too far.
