The Cincinnati Bengals crushed any hope the Oakland Raiders might have had about the 2015 NFL season, and the memes were soon to embrace the pessimistic outlook.
The Raiders lost 33-13 at home, falling behind by 30 points before getting on the scoreboard and losing Derek Carr, their starting quarterback, to an injury in the second quarter, although it’s not something that’s going to last for a while.
The losing however, is here to stay. It’s hard to put the finger on one reason the Raiders have been this bad for so long, but it’s not going to end this season, and an improvement for them will be winning four or five games, which makes the whole situation seem even sadder.
