AC Milan began 2011 with a late-earned win against Cagliari, beating the Rossoblu in Sardinia 1-0 with a 85th minute goal from Rodney Strasser. Who? Not Robinho, not Pato and not Antonio Cassano who made his AC Milan debut and set up Strasser’s goal. A 20 year old midfielder from Sierra Leone who has been with the Rossonerri since 2007 played for the only fourth time with the senior squad, coming in for Gattuso in the 58th minute. The goal was his first career goal for Milan who now have a 5 point lead on top of the Serie A with 39 points.

Lazio, who drew 0-0 with Genoa are second with 34 while Juventus were stunned by Parma at home, losing to the mid-table squad 1-4 in Torino and dropped to 5th with 31. Roma beat Catania 4-2 with Vucinic and Borriello both grabbing braces, moving them to fourth in the table with 32 points. Napoli and Inter will begin their clash in minutes. A Napoli win against Inter, with Leonardo on the sidelines for the first time, will bring them to second, 3 points behind the league leaders.
