A year goes by, and the memes once again make fun of Colin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers for getting crushed at home by the Seattle Seahawks.
This wasn’t a regular beatdown. This was a once-in-a-year kind of thrashing. The Seahawks beat the 49ers 19-3 last year on Thanksgiving. This time they handed their punishment to the team they hate the most a little early, once again holding them on 3 points and scoring 20.
Kaepernick had a rough evening. He was sacked six times and got his time a first down only 8 times. He’s not doing great for a number of reasons. The main one? A terrible offensive line, a terrible front office and coaching staff. It’s going to be a while before benching him for Blaine Gabbert actually helps.
Meanwhile 49ers fans are losing hope. They left the game early, and the expectations of this season amounting to anything, or something good happening under this guidance of front office geniuses, are at an all-time low.
