The number one team in the latest rankings, Clemson, finally beat Florida State and clinched their division to set up a spot in the ACC championship game. LSU got destroyed by Derrick Henry and Alabama, Ohio State didn’t look too smooth in a win over Minnesota and Notre Dame keep on winning despite the injuries piling up. Florida clinched their division and a spot in the SEC title game by beating Vanderbilt, barely. Michigan State lost to Nebraska in the final seconds on a wrong call by the officials.

#16 Florida State (7-2) 13  #1 Clemson (9-0) 23: Clemson will play in the ACC championship game after three years of finishing behind Florida State, finally winning the game that pretty much runs this conference. An early Dalvin Cook touchdown had some people worried, but the Seminoles didn’t do much after that, as Deshaun Watson and Wayne Gallman each rushed for over 100 yards, and going 10-0 in the fourth quarter sealed the deal.

#2 LSU (7-1) 16  #4 Alabama (8-1) 30: The Crimson Tide make sure everyone knows who the best in the SEC West is, with Derrick Henry running all over the Tigers (210 yards, three touchdowns) while Leonard Fournette was held to just 31 yards on 19 carries and Brandon Harris completed just 6-of-19 throws.

Minnesota (4-5) 14  #3 Ohio State (9-0) 28: Playing without the suspended J.T. Barrett, Ohio State mostly leaned on Ezekiel Elliott (114 yards, TD) and a bit of Cardale Jones to remain on top of the Big Ten despite an unimpressive performance.

#5 Notre Dame (8-1) 42  Pittsburgh (6-3) 30: Injuries don’t seem to get in the way of the Fighting Irish’s bid for a playoff spot. DeShone Kizer threw five touchdown passes and Josh Adams ran for 147 yards as Notre Dame eased up on the Panthers in the fourth quarter, with the game never being this close.

#6 Baylor (8-0) 31  Kansas State (3-5) 24: Baylor held a 31-10 early in the fourth quarter before the Wildcats began a comeback that made the Bears a little bit nervous. Jarrett Stidham threw three touchdown passes, two to Corey Coleman. KSU fell to 0-5 in the Big 12 this season.

#7 Michigan State (8-1) 38  Nebraska (4-6) 39: Brandon Reilly caught a Tommy Armstrong pass to win the game with 17 seconds left, but he was out of bounds before catching the pass, but the referees made a mistake and allowed themselves to let the Lincoln atmosphere influence them, maybe ruining Michigan State’s playoff bid for good.

#8 TCU (8-1) 29  #14 Oklahoma State (9-0) 49: TCU are no longer undefeated, unable to slow down the rampaging Cowboys. Mason Rudolph threw five touchdown passes and Trevone Boykin was intercepted four times in what might be an eliminator of one team out of the three horse race in the Big 12.

#9 Iowa (9-0) 35  Indiana (4-5) 27: The Hoosiers made it difficult for a little while, including narrowing the lead down to one point in the fourth. But the Hawkeyes keep on churning yards, finishing with 234 on the ground, including two touchdowns for LeShun Daniels.

Vanderbilt (3-6) 7   #10 Florida (8-1) 9: An ugly game for the Gators which won’t help them in the rankings, but a Austin Hardin field goal with 2:22 left won them the game and clinched the division title for them, and a spot in the SEC championship game.

#11 Stanford (8-1) 42  Colorado (4-6) 10: Christian McCaffrey ran for 147 yards, Kevin Hogan threw two touchdown passes and ran for another, as The Cardinal took another step towards winning the division.

#12 Utah (8-1) 34  Washington (4-5) 23: A game without a lot of offense, but Utah usually manage to do well without, leaning on Devontae Booker with 150 yards and a touchdown while quarterback Travis Wilson ran for two more to carry them towards a great finish in the Pac-12 South.

Navy (7-1) 45  #13 Memphis (8-1) 20: An undefeated season ends just like that, as the Midshipmen ran for 374 yards on their way to changing the balance of the American Conference.

Iowa State (3-6) 16  #15 Oklahoma (8-1) 52: An easy day out for the Sooners, as Baker Mayfield threw three touchdown passes and ran for another, while the Sooners overall had 279 yards on the ground.

Rutgers (3-6) 16  #17 Michigan (7-2) 49: Jake Rudock had a good day and the Michigan defense did the rest, making it an easy day for the running crew with a lot of short yardage situations, holding Rutgers to just 225 yards.

Arkansas (5-4) 53  #18 Ole Miss (7-3) 52: Arkansas win in triple overtime on a wild play that included a lateral and a reverse hail mary pass, with Drew Morgan being the one to score the winning touchdown and make the season look not too terrible for the Razorbacks.

Auburn (5-4) 26  #19 Texas A&M (6-3) 10: Auburn has a huge day on the ground with 313 yards including 159 by Jovon Robinson, making the most of Kyler Murray throwing three interceptions.

#20 Mississippi State (7-2) 31  Missouri (4-5) 13: Missouri players are striking against the university’s president and haven’t been competitive for quite some time now, allowing Dak Prescott and the Bulldogs to have their way, with four touchdown throws by the quarterback.

Penn State (7-3) 21  #21 Northwestern (7-2): A Jack Mitchell kick with nine seconds left in the game won it for the Wildcats, relying on Justin Jackson who ran for 186 yards and making life difficult on Christian Hackenberg, throwing for just 205 yards and one interceptions.

#22 Temple (8-1) 60  SMU (1-8) 40: Things didn’t go smoothly for the Owls against a bad Mustangs team, but two late touchdowns helped them make it seem a bit easier than it was. P.J. Walker threw four touchdown passes while Temple ran for 268 on the ground.

#23 UCLA (7-2) 41  Oregon State (2-7) 0: The Beavers get shutout at home while Josh Rosen threw a couple of touchdown passes and the Bruins ran for 284 yards.

Northern Illinois (6-3)  32  #24 Toledo (7-1) 27: The undefeated season is over for Toledo with three costly turnovers making the difference, unable to stop a Joel Bouagnon touchdown run with 1:59 left in the game.

Cincinnati (5-4) 30  #25 Houston (9-0) 33: The Cougars remain the last team standing in the AAC, holding on to the win despite a so-so day from Greg Ward (two touchdowns, two interceptions) and a huge day on the other side for Gunner Kiel with four touchdown passes and throwing for 523 yards.
