The flipside to this isn’t the Lions improving to 2-7 and shocking the NFL world with their win. It’s the Packers falling to 6-3, losing a third game in a row and suddenly seeing the Minnesota Vikings claim top spot in the division and the Bears not too far away.
Aaron Rodgers suddenly looking mundane for three quarters and maybe more is another thing to worry about. Suddenly he’s not the best quarterback in the NFL. Suddenly he’s ordinary, and the Packers can’t win with him being far from special.
