NBA Scores & Standings – December 3, 2015

Kristaps Porzingis, Knicks vs 76ers

Last night NBA scores include the Golden State Warriors improving to 20-0 against the Charlotte Hornets, the Los Angeles Lakers finally winning a game, the New York Knicks bringing the Philadelphia 76ers back to earth, the Chicago Bulls still looking unimpressive but winning while doing so and the Indiana Pacers keeping things uncomfortable for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Golden State Warriors (20-0) 116  Charlotte Hornets (10-8) 99: Everything is normal, nothing to see here. Stephen Curry scored 40 points, including 28 in the third quarter, while the Hornets, playing without Al Jefferson, rarely looked like a team capable of toppling the best winning streak in NBA history to start a season.

Los Angeles Lakers (3-15) 108  Washington Wizards (7-9) 104: Kobe Bryant? A good shooting night? Turns out it’s possible. He scored 31 points on 10-of-24 from the field as the Lakers had five more players in double figures, with Julius Randle grabbing 19 rebounds and Lou Williams having 7 steals.

Phoenix Suns (8-11) 122  Detroit Pistons (10-9) 127: The Pistons win in overtime thanks to Reggie Jackson, who finished the game with 34 points and 16 assists, as the Pistons got double doubles from Marcus Morris (not playing against his twin brother) with 24 points and 14 rebounds and obviously Andre Drummond, scoring 22 to go with 12 boards.

Philadelphia 76ers (1-19) 87  New York Knicks (9-10) 99: The 76ers playing without Jahlil Okafor really had nothing on offense (37.2% from the field) all game long, with Kristaps Porzingis leading the Knicks with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Toronto Raptors (12-7) 96  Atlanta Hawks (12-9) 86: A big game for Kyle Lowry with 31 points, including 22 coming in the fourth quarter to help the Raps come back from 17-points down. The Hawks shot just 36.7% from the field.

Denver Nuggets (6-13) 90  Chicago Bulls (11-5) 99: A huge night for Pau Gasol (26 points, 19 rebounds) overcame another bad shooting performance for Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler while the Nuggets keep on putting miserable shooting numbers.

New Orleans Pelicans (4-15) 101  Houston Rockets (8-11) 108: Anthony Davis with 29 points is all alone on a team that can’t seem to shake off their awful start, while James Harden (24 points) got plenty of help from the Rockets bench as they try to find their way back towards .500.

Milwaukee Bucks (7-12) 70  San Antonio Spurs (15-4) 95: The Spurs are now 10-0 at home this season with a comfortable win against the disappointing Bucks, with Tim Duncan scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead a well coordinated effort.

Indiana Pacers (12-5) 103  Los Angeles Clippers (10-9) 91: A sixth win in a row for the Pacers as Paul George scores 31 points and get 18 points of help from Rodney Stuckey off the bench. The Clippers, playing without Chris Paul, shot just 38% from the field and were led by Blake Griffin and Lance Stephenson, each scoring 19 points.
