Championship Week – Conference Tournaments Schedule

Championship Week – Conference Tournaments Schedule

The beginning of Championship Week is about more than winning the conference tournament. It’s mostly about bubble teams finding a way to get in the NCAA Tournament, be it by making an impressive run in the tournament, or simply winning it just to make sure nothing is left to chance.

So who is on the bubble, at least in the big conferences? Pittsburgh and Syracuse (especially) seem to be on the fence in the ACC, Texas Tech need a good tournament in the Big 12, Providence and especially Butler need the tournament to make it in the Big East, huge rivals Michigan and Ohio State have their work cut out for them in the Big Ten, Oregon State and USC could use a big win in the Pac-12 and Vanderbilt, Florida and Alabama are all counting on a good SEC tournament and maybe a shocking win there to make it into the NCAA Tournament.
