In a rather quiet Sunday, the Golden State Warriors headlined the NBA lineup of games with an easy win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Elsewhere, the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks both lost key games in their playoff races while in the East, both the Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards gave their postseason cause a nice little boost.

Denver Nuggets 90  Los Angeles Clippers 105: The Clippers won’t finish below or above 4th in the West. All that’s left is having fun and waiting for Blake Griffin to come back. Without him, the Clippers ha a comfortable home win without any tense moments against the Nuggets, which felt like a garbage time game from start to finish. DeAndre Jordan with 16 points led six players in double figures, followed by Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford with 14 each. Jusuf Nurkic led Denver with 19 points.

Houston Rockets 101  Indiana Pacers 104: While the Pacers are making sure they don’t miss the playoffs with some late season collapse (like last year, more or less), the Rockets keep dancing on the edge, lucky the Mavericks are falling apart. James Harden scored 34 points to go with 8 assists, but that was about it for the Rockets. Paul George was hot early, with 16 of his 25 points coming in the first quarter. With Monta Ellis scoring 23, it was enough for the win.

Dallas Mavericks 111  Sacramento Kings 133: One could hardly tell the Mavs were the ones fighting for their lives while the Kings have nothing to play for. The Kings hit 62.2% of their shots, led by Willie Cauley-Stein with 21 points, DeMarcus Cousins with 20 and Darren Collison added 17, as Rajon Rondo (11 points, 11 assists) got something of a revenge win against the team that threw him out last season and made it so almost no one wanted to touch him during free agency.

Philadelphia 76ers 105  Golden State Warriors 117: The 76ers remain stuck on nine wins, the Warriors move up to 66. Stephen Curry had “only” 20 points while going 2-for-9 from beyond the arc. Klay Thompson made it so it didn’t matter, finishing with 40 thanks to seven three-pointers, while Marreese Speights helped out scoring 17 off the bench. Carl Landry led Philadelphia with 22 points.

Washington Wizards 101  Los Angeles Lakers 88: The Wizards made the most of playing against the worst team in the West to put pressure on those above them in the playoff race. John Wall scored 22 points along with 13 assists and held the Lakers to 37.9% from the field. D’Angelo Russell led them on their 58th loss of the season with 22 points.
