The Rookie Challenge, aka the Rookies – Sophomores game is usually a long dunk contest. When you have Blake Griffin on your side despite being the number one pick of the 2009 NBA draft, you’re probably going to win. Griffin sat out for a long period due to him playing in the big game on Sunday, bu had enough time to throw down some crowd pleasers as John Wall just threw things around the rim and Griffin soared high above everyone else. The best moment was this bounce pass from Wall, feeding the hungry-for-dunks Griffin in the evening’s most impressive Alley Oop and actually one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.
