Todd Frazier Grand Slam Home Run

In a day filled with postponements, the Chicago White Sox came through thanks to a Grand Slam home run in extra innings, while the Washington Nationals had a dramatic finish too, beating the Detroit Tigers on a walk off home run.

Detroit Tigers 4  Washington Nationals 5: A game that ended on a walk off home run by Clint Robinson, but the big story was Bryce Harper getting ejected, and he was leaving the field Robinson won the game, resulting in Harper celebrating with the team and slipping a pretty clear F U to the umpire.

Kansas City Royals 3  New York Yankees 6: Aroldis Chapman made a successful debut for the Yankees while two home runs from Carlos Beltran carried the bulk of the offensive load.

Oakland Athletics 7  Boston Red Sox 14: A second straight win for Boston, a second straight loss for the A’s, with Brock Holt hitting one home run and Jackie Bradley Jr. hitting a grand slam home run to finish with six RBIs.

Pittsburgh Pirates 2  Cincinnati Reds 3: The Reds scored off of three single home runs, including the fifth this season for Joey Votto, rallying from 2-1 down in the sixth and 7th innings to win the game.

Milwaukee Brewers 1  Miami Marlins 4: Jose Fernandez gets better as the season goes deeper into May, improving to 4-2 with a 3.54 ERA, striking out 11 batters in seven innings.

Chicago White Sox 8  Texas Rangers 4: An interesting game that went to extra innings, decided by the second home run of the day from Todd Frazier, which turned out to be a grand slam homer. Zach Putnam struck out two as he closed the game.

Cleveland Indians 1  Houston Astros 7: Mike Fiers allowed just three hits in seven innings, while offense came from Jose Altuve with three RBIs thanks to a double and a sac fly.

Arizona Diamondbacks 10  Colorado Rockies 5: Jean Segura and Jake Lamb hit home runs for the Diamondbacks, while Archie Bradley picked up the win despite allowing seven hits.

Tampa Bay Rays 2  Seattle Mariners 5:  Felix Hernandez allowed four hits in seven innings while striking out four to pick up the wi. Ketel Marte hit his first home run of the season, had four hits on the day and three runs.

New York Mets 4  Los Angeles Dodgers 2: A game of home runs (mostly), with Curtis Granderson and Kevin Plawecki hitting one each for the Mets, who got another strong performance from Steven Matz, improving to 5-1 on the back of five strikeouts in six innings, allowing two runs.

Toronto Blue Jays 3  San Francisco Giants 1: Aaron Sanchez looked great for the Blue Jays, allowing three hits in seven innings. Edwin Encarnacion provided the offense, hitting a two-run homer. The Giants were held to just four hits.
