The Chicago Cubs keep taking out their frustration on the Atlanta Braves, while the Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals and San Francisco Giants extend their division leads over direct rivals.

Baltimore Orioles 9  Toronto Blue Jays 10: The Blue Jays win against Baltimore for a third straight time, scoring early and often, with a solo homer from Kevin Pillar and a three-run homer from Russell Martin among the 14 this.

Chicago Cubs 13  Atlanta Braves 2: The Cubs seem to be letting it all out on the Braves after losing in the series opener, with 16 hits overall, a home run for Javier Baez and also three RBIs for Anthony Rizzo, while Jon Lester strikes out 7 in 7, improving his ERA to 1.89.

Oakland Athletics 6  Cincinnati Reds 1: A great job by the A’s bullpen, not allowing a single hit in the final five innings, while home runs from Marcus Semien, Jake Smolinski and Danny Valencia did the bulk of the offensive work.

Houston Astros 0  Tampa Bay Rays 5: While Matt Moore held the Astros to 2 hits in 7 innings while striking out 10, the Rays got all of their runs in the 5th inning, with Dallas Keuchel falls to 3-9 with a 5.54 ERA.

Detroit Tigers 4  New York Yankees 1: The Tigers pick up a second win in a row, with Michael Fulmer adding another solid start to his CV, another home run from Ian Kinsler (13th this season), scoring two in the 7th to make it a four-run game.

Kansas City Royals 3  Chicago White Sox 1: The Royals keep sending the White Sox deeper into the hole thanks to Yordano Ventura striking out 10 in his seven innings, a home run by Salvador Perez and excellent hitting from Whit Merrifield.

New York Mets 3  Milwaukee Brewers 5: Zach Davies allowed only three hits in 5 innings, but the win almost slipped away when Carlos Torres hit the mound. Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy both had RBIs in consecutive wins for Milwaukee.

Boston Red Sox 4  Minnesota Twins 7: After blowing a three-run lead in the 8th, the Twins got a three-run homer from Max Kepler for the walk-off win in the 10th, something giving the Twins fans (66.8% full) a reason to celebrate, which has been rare this season.

Cleveland Indians 8  Los Angeles Angels 3: Danny Salazar doesn’t complete six innings, but did enough to get the win. Meanwhile Francisco Lindor and Carlos Santana hit home runs to kick off the game, putting the Indians in a constant state of superiority.

Philadelphia Phillies 4  Washington Nationals 5: The Phillies entered the bottom of the 9th with a 4-3 lead thanks to a home run by Maikel Franco, but Jeanmar Gomez couldn’t get the save, allowing a 2-RBI single from Jayson Werth, winning the game for the Nats.

Texas Rangers 6  Seattle Mariners 4: Rangers beat the Mariners again to prove who is the best in the AL West. Cole Hamels struck out five as he improves to 6-1, and a early home run from Mitch Moreland gave the Rangers the cushion they needed for a drama-free finish.

San Diego Padres 1  Colorado Rockies 2: A great performance by Tyler Anderson almost went to waste, but Mark Reynolds hitting his 4th home run of the season in the 7th helped the Rockies overcome Jon Jay tying the game.

Miami Marlins 0  Arizona Diamondbacks 6: Robbie Ray shuts down the Marlins with 7.2 innings of giving up only three hits. Offense came from Peter O’Brien hitting a three-run homer, and RBI number 39 for Paul Goldschmidt.

St. Louis Cardinals 8  Pittsburgh Pirates 3: The Pirates are falling, losing five in a row. Matt Holliday opened the game with a home run and an RBI single, and the Cardinals never looked back, capping off their 8 runs with another home run, this time from Randal Grichuk.

Los Angeles Dodgers 1  San Francisco Giants 2: A sixth inning home run from Brandon Belt scored two. Joc Pederson hit a home run in the 7th, but just a solo one. Jake Peavy got the win (150 in his career) and six bullpen players completed the job, including Santiago Casilla with save number 13 this season.
