The Chicago Cubs are back on track thanks to Kris Bryant and a rare hitting performance, the Texas Rangers keep on with their winning ways thanks a rain delay against the New York Yankees, and the hottest team in Baseball, the Cleveland Indians, look unstoppable at the moment.

Los Angeles Dodgers 5  Pittsburgh Pirates 4: Scott Kazmir did poorly early on, but stabilized as the Dodgers came back from four runs down, winning on an A.J. Ellis single in the 5th.

Texas Rangers 9  New York Yankees 6: A rain delay dragged the game past midnight, ending at 16 minutes before 3 a.m. The Yankees had a 6-4 lead after the 7th, but Rougned Odor hit a home run to put his team back on track, Adrian Beltre scored two off his single to take the lead, and Elvis Andrus capped things off with another two-RBI single.

Chicago Cubs 11  Cincinnati Reds 8: Kris Bryant hit three home runs to pick up six RBIs, and wound up with five extra base hits, something that hasn’t been done since 2012 by Josh Hamilton, and overall it’s only the third time since 1900. Jake Arrieta improve to 12-1, as the Cubs continue their dominance over NL Central teams.

New York Mets 4  Washington Nationals 11: Noah Syndergaard had just three innings of work in an awful game, as the Nats scored 11 consecutive runs after going 0-4 down. Anthony Rendon, Jayson Werth, Daniel Murphy and Danny Espinosa each had two RBIs or more.

Cleveland Indians 8  Atlanta Braves 3: The streak continues for the Indians, the longest in the majors this season (10 wins). A three-run homer by Lonnie Chisenhall really got them going, and Jason Kipnis later added his 10th homer of the season.

Boston Red Sox 7  Tampa Bay Rays 13: The 11-game losing streak is over for the Rays, getting three hits, one home run and five RBIs from Nick Franklin, while the Red Sox drop their third game in a row, tied for the longest losing streak in the majors right now.

St. Louis Cardinals 2  Kansas City Royals 6: The battle for Missouri continues, as Danny Duffy struck out 8 in 8 innings to help the Royals even the series, getting offensive help from Kendrys Morales and Eric Hosmer.

Toronto Blue Jays 5  Colorado Rockies 9: The Blue Jays started out with a 4-0 score, but the Rockies scored nine in a row, with a three-run homer by Carlos Gonzalez (17th of the season) sparking the comeback.

Philadelphia Phillies 8  Arizona Diamondbacks 0: Vince Velasquez pitched just five shutout innings, striking out 7 in the meantime. Maikel Franco finished with three RBIs off of two scoring singles.

Houston Astros 4  Los Angeles Angels 2: The Angels scored two first, the Astros tied things up in the 7th, and broke the tie in the ninth: A sacrifice fly by Carlos Correa, followed by an RBI single from George Springer.

Oakland Athletics 8  San Francisco Giants 3: A strong day from Daniel Mengden, including an incredible catch for an out, led the way in the A’s win in San Francisco. Marcus Semien hit his 15th home run of the season, a three run homer.
