Cleveland Indians 2 Â Toronto Blue Jays 1:Â The Indians win number 14 in a row, needing 19 innings to get it done. The hero? Carlos Santana with a home run, while Trevor Bauer got five innings of late-game work to pick up the win, improving to 7-2 this season.
Cincinnati Reds 2 Â Washington Nationals 3:Â Daniel Murphy remains hot with a couple of RBIs, but a strong day for Ben Revere (3 hits) ended with an RBI double in the 14th inning, giving the Nats a walk-off win.
Kansas City Royals 3 Â Philadelphia Phillies 4:Â Jeremy Hellickson looked very good in six innings of work, while a home run and an RBI single from Odubel Herrera did most of the work for Philadelphia.
Los Angeles Angels 4 Â Boston Red Sox 5:Â The Angels keep crashing into the abyss, suffering from the 19th home run this season by David Ortiz. The Red Sox had a 5-0 lead eaten with a C.J. Cron grand slam home run, but the bullpen did a good job in the final three innings, allowing four hits and nothing more.
Detroit Tigers 10 Â Tampa Bay Rays 2:Â Michael Fulmer struck out 10, while Victor Martinez hit two home runs, both of them driving in two more besides himself. Not a lot else was needed.
Miami Marlins 7 Â Atlanta Braves 5:Â With the game tied at 5-5 at the end of 9, it was Jose Fernandez of all players with the pinch hit duty that won the game, hitting a double that went deep and scored two, before Dustin McGowan got the save.
Chicago Cubs 2 Â New York Mets 10:Â Home run after home run, the Mets showed the Cubs once again they have a problem with them when it comes to matchup. Jacob deGrom struck out 7, Yoenis Cespedes hit his 20th home run of the season, and Asdrubal Cabrera finished with a couple of long balls.
Texas Rangers 3 Â Minnesota Twins 2:Â Down by two runs in the 7th, the Twins forced extra innings with a two-run homer by Trevor Plouffe. However, Ian Desmond hit a 10th inning home run to win the game, as Sam Dyson closed it.
Chicago White Sox 0 Â Houston Astros 5:Â The Astros shutout the White Sox, allowing only five hits. Meanwhile, Carlos Gomez hit a two-run homer, while Carlos Correa made it to 50 RBIs.
Milwaukee Brewers 1 Â St. Louis Cardinals 7:Â Jaime Garcia lasts 8 innings, striking out 6. No home runs, but Matt Holliday stood out with 3 RBIs, helping the Cards get the final three runs of the game.
San Francisco Giants 6  Arizona Diamondbacks 4: The D-Backs lose their 6th in a row while Johnny Cueto improves to 12-1 this season, striking out 9 batters. Jarrett Parker hit a home run for the Giants, Grant Green and Trevor Brown finished with two RBIs each.
Pittsburgh Pirates 7 Â Oakland Athletics 3:Â Jeff Locke is on a roll with a third straight win, helped by offense from Jordy Mercer with a home run and two RBIs from Josh Harrison.
Baltimore Orioles 2 Â Seattle Mariners 5:Â Wade LeBlanc allows only three hits in his start and first win of the season, while home runs from Seth Smith, Kyle Seager and Dae-Ho Lee take care of the rest.
Colorado Rockies 0 Â Los Angeles Dodgers 5:Â The Dodgers have got a good thing going on, allowing only three hits on Bud Norris’ start and win. Adrian Gonzalez had two hits and two RBIs as the offense’s MVP for the day.
New York Yankees 6 Â San Diego Padres 7:Â Back under .500 for the Yankees, scoring four runs in the 9th which didn’t help. Wil Myers hit his 19th home run of the season for the Padres, Ryan Schrimpf hit his first.
