Kansas City Royals 6  Philadelphia Phillies 2: Kendrys Morales hit two home runs to finish with four RBIs, while Danny Duffy stuck out 8 batters to solidify the win.

Los Angeles Angels 21  Boston Red Sox 2: A huge day, with 22 hits, for the Angels. C.J. Cron went 6-for-6 and hit two home runs. Albert Pujols and Carlos Perez hit a long ball each, as the Angles match the output of their last six games (losing four in a row) in one nine-inning effort.
