So Draymond Green turns himself into an even bigger joke than before, as he posts a picture of his penis to Snapchat instead of sending it to the woman he initially intended to show off to. Memes, obviously, followed.
Maybe this is why Carmelo Anthony looked so annoyed while the guys were singing Vanessa Carlton songs, who knows? One thing is for sure: D’Angelo Russell isn’t the one to blame. Green initially tried lying his way out of it with the famous “My account got hacked excuse” routine, but he quickly confessed, once again saying it’s one of those mistakes he learns from and comes stronger.
It’s been a rollercoaster year for Green, who entered the NBA conference finals as one of the hottest players in the league, but leaving them as someone who didn’t show up to enough games, causes his team a lot of trouble with his cheap shots and intentional violence, including a one-game suspension, that began the Warriors implosion and collapse in the finals. Then there was his East Lansing scuffle which he settled out of court. Now this.
Maybe these are all nothing but meaningless flesh wounds to Green, but reputation does mean something to NBA players, and Green, who might try to steer off social media for a while, isn’t doing himself any favors by planting himself on the wrong side of the news for the last three months.
