NFL Rumors – Cleveland Browns Want to Draft Johnny Manziel
Right now, the Cleveland Browns have the fourth pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. The player they have their sights on? Johnny Manziel coming out of Texas A&M, and they’re willing to trade up to get him.

Cleveland Browns – No One Wants to Coach Them
It’s hard to find another NFL franchise in more of a mess than the Cleveland Browns. Not just the eternal rebuilding process and not making the postseason for over a decade, but firing Rob Chudzinski after only one season has made them something of a social pariah, with coaches and coordinators not really excited about getting the offer to be their head coach next season.

NFL Head Coaches Fired at the End of the Season
As always, right after the 2013 NFL regular season ended, a long list of head coaches found themselves out of a job. Gary Kubiak was fired before the season was over, but he also found himself in good company along with Jim Schwartz, Greg Schiano, Mike Shanahan, Leslie Frazier and Rob Chudzinski.

Chicago Bears – The Jay Cutler Experience Isn’t for the Faint of Heart
Choosing Jay Cutler over Josh McCown might have been a bad decision by Marc Trestman early on for the Chicago Bears, but by the end of their 38-31 win over the Cleveland Browns it turned out to be the correct one. No one argues with bottom lines, which is the Bears currently holding on to the lead in the NFC North, hoping for the Detroit Lions to slip up in their next game and later as well.

Jason Campbell is The Best Quarterback They’ve Had in Ages
The season began with Brandon Weeden, went on to Brian Hoyer, then to Jason Campbell, back to Weeden and now Hoyer again. The wins aren’t coming no matter who is the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns since Hoyer’s injury, but the numbers suggest Campbell isn’t only the best quarterback they have right now, but also the best they’ve had in a very long time.

New England Patriots – A Happy Ending, Despite Everything
It was hard to say how pleased, if at all, were the New England Patriots with their 27-26 win over the Cleveland Browns, scoring two touchdowns in the final minute of the game. They got help from the officials, they probably lost Rob Gronkowski for the season (again), and their defense and especially secondary looked embarrassing at times against a team that has only one go-to-guy on offense.

Steelers vs Browns – Ben Roethlisberger Might Actually Make the Playoffs
At the moment, after five wins in seven games, the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves among the 8 teams making the playoffs in the AFC. Surprised? They are too, even after beating the Cleveland Browns 27-11, getting another mistake-free performance from Ben Roethilsberger in only his fourth game this season without throwing an interception.

NFL Rumors – Cleveland Browns Don’t Want Jeff Garcia
Things seem to be going so badly for the Cleveland Browns that even Jeff Garcia, five years into his retirement from the NFL, thinks he has a shot to play for them. So far, no one from the franchise is actually interested in four-time pro bowler, but it just goes to show just how bad things have gotten (yet again) for one of the most poorly run organizations in the NFL.

Cleveland Browns – Worst Second Half Team in the NFL
It’s slightly surprising to see the Cleveland Browns at 3-3, tied for second in the AFC North. However, considering how badly they’ve done this season after the halftime break, regardless if it’s been Brandon Weeden or Brian Hoyer at quarterback, makes it even weirder that they’ve won so much this season.

Houston Texans Rumors – Possibly Trading Ben Tate
The Houston Texans have now lost four games in a row, and a fifth straight defeat will mean the end of their hopes for this season, and they will seriously start considering moving some pieces, like Ben Tate, who turns into a free agent at the end of the season, and is generating plenty of […]
