NBA Rumors – Cleveland Drafting Otto Porter, Not Nerlens Noel
The Cleveland Cavaliers aren’t in rebuilding mode. They want to make the playoffs, considering they have a lottery pick for a third straight season. Nerlens Noel has been the popular choice for the number one pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, but if the Cavs wants to win and reach the playoffs now, Otto Porter might be the better choice as the number one pick.

NBA Rumors – Phoenix Suns Get Cody Zeller, Portland Trail Blazers Get Marcin Gortat
The Phoenix Suns, who have the fifth pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, would really like to see Cody Zeller becoming one of their players, but they won’t use a top 5 pick on him. However, by using Marcin Gortat (who wants to leave) as trade bait, they’re hoping that the Portland Trail Blazers use the 10th pick on the Indiana star before trading between the two.

Boston Celtics – Doc Rivers Might Want Rajon Rondo to be Traded
One of the more interesting teams to look at this offseason are the Boston Celtics, who are trying to fight gravity and time by keeping the team relevant in the NBA playoff picture for the next few seasons, with Doc Rivers slightly afraid of a full-rebuilding mode, and considering the fact that trading Rajon Rondo while keeping Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett might be the best way to keep the team competitive.
