A theory that’s been thrown around here and elsewhere in the past is that once you have Cristiano Ronaldo in the squad, and obviously in the lineup, it forces you to play a certain way. Real Madrid, since Ronaldo has arrived, haven’t been able to reclaim their Champions League dominance, and are on their way of losing yet another La Liga title to Barcelona, already 11 points behind their arch rivals.

Champions League – Game Day 6 Predictions
After a night of surprises, the second half of this week’s Champions League dose continues with the always entertaining group of death; Real Madrid arrive in Germany to play against Borussia Dortmund while Ajax host Manchester City. Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed most of the headlines for Real Madrid with his hat trick in the 4-1 win over Ajax in the Champions League, but it was Karim Benzema and a beautiful scissor kick goal that was the most impressive of the night. In Belgium, Eliseu scored twice, including one wonder shot to open the scoring in Malaga’s 3-0 win over Anderlecht.
