Chicago Bulls – Derrick Rose Gets to Lead For Once
Sometimes it’s Pau Gasol, other times it’s Jimmy Butler, but it’s rare to see Derrick Rose lead the scoring for the Chicago Bulls this season. In a dominant 105-80 win over the Brooklyn Nets, it was finally the case.

Cleveland Cavaliers – Dion Waiters Gives LeBron James a Night Off
It’s never really easy winning in the NBA, but it sure looked that way as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Brooklyn Nets on the road 110-88, led by Dion Waiters off the bench while LeBron James, Kevin Love and especially Kyrie Irving had a much more toned down kind of performance.

Brooklyn Nets – Champions Get the Best Out of Them
In a season without too many great moments of victory waiting for them down the road, you cherish anything you get. Beating the San Antonio Spurs 95-93 in overtime in what should have been one final meeting between Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan is probably one of those season highs.

The Milwaukee Bucks are doing what they’re not supposed to do, which is win a lot of games, beating the Brooklyn Nets 122-118 on the road in a triple overtime game that had Brandon Knight having an unbelievable layup miss that almost cost his team the game, but also a clutch three pointer that kept them alive in the second overtime.

Minnesota Timberwolves – Too Young & Fast For the Old Brooklyn Nets
What’s better to have in the NBA – youth or experience? Probably depends on the talent. The Brooklyn Nets have guys who used to be great, but not so much anymore. They allowed the Minnesota Timberwolves to slip away with a 98-91 road win, scoring the final nine points of the game in a very enjoyable performance from one of the most fun to watch teams in the league.
-
Nets Over Thunder – Injured Teams Make Easy Opponents
Losing 111-86 to the Brooklyn Nets, this is how bad the Oklahoma City Thunder were imagined they’d be without Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. Reggie Jackson was back, but that only seemed to make things worse, while Brook Lopez made his return to lead his team on their home debut.

Brooklyn Nets – This Season Will be More Depressing Than Before
The most expensive team in the history of the NBA when you count in luxury tax, and the Brooklyn Nets are slowly decaying. Maybe it’s just a phase, but it seems like more of a slippery slope to irrelevance, without putting on the kind of basketball shows that make people feel happy that they’re watching.
