  • Kevin Durant & LeBron James – Playoff Rivals, Preseason Friends

In a few years time, the LeBron James – Kevin Durant duo might be one of the greatest individual rivalries in the history of the NBA, if we’ll get to see a few more Heat – Thunder Finals series. But there’s hatred or grudge off the court between these two, choosing to train together during the off season once again.

  • Maurice Jones-Drew: To Trade or Not to Trade?

At the age of 27, Maurice Jones-Drew feels it’s time for two things – Get paid like he thinks he deserves and/or play on a winning team. The Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t planning on giving him A) The kind of money he wants and B) A trade to somewhere else, for professional and personal reasons.

  • Peyton Manning – Could be Better, Could be Worse

He’s yet to throw a touchdown, but there still enough to be optimistic about. Peyton Manning has been intercepted three times in this preseason with the Denver Broncos, but the plays that come after the bad ones give him, his team and the fans plenty of hope to cling to.

  • Cristiano Ronaldo Back to Scoring Goals (Real Madrid vs AC Milan)

The 5-1 scoreline doesn’t lie. Except for a few moments in the first half, the new and downgraded AC Milan hardly had any touches throughout the match, while Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice and Angel Di Maria delivered a beautiful goal to open the match, with a world of difference between the two teams in the New York friendly.

  • Lionel Messi and Nothing Much Else (Barcelona vs Manchester United)

It’s been more than 3 years since Manchester United met Barcelona in the Champions League final, and not much has changed, except for the Barcelona head coach. • Lionel Messi and friends testing the New Mega Club (Barcelona vs PSG)

While Barcelona aren’t at full capacity yet, with Tito Vilanova still trying and tweaking things in his lineup, PSG are up and running with their strongest possible starting XI. After making a few big changes and maybe still yet to come, with the ambitions they have, there’s no use in gradually trying to blend the new players.

  • 2012 College Football Rankings – Preseason Edition

Nothing changed from last season; LSU and Alabama 1 and 2, SEC above the rest with 5 teams in the top 10 in a season of many changes that sees TCU and West Virginia in their new Big 12 home already among the preseason top 25, while USC make a return to the upper echelon of College Football, this time without Pete Carroll and hopefully no scandals.

  • Tim Tebow vs Mark Sanchez? So Far, No One is Winning

What’s left after the first practices of the New York Jets and their quarterback duo of Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow? Not much, after both played pretty bad. At least Rex Ryan is making some funny comments worth mentioning, which doesn’t bode well for the Jets’ seasons, trying to make a postseason return.

  • Lionel Messi’s Friendly Hat-Trick; Zlatan Ibrahimovic Scores on Debut

One that never moved and might never leave and one that keeps on switching teams. Lionel Messi, like all of Barcelona, had no problem impressing and scoring a hat-trick in an 8-0 win over Raja Casablanca while Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his PSG debut, scoring in under three minutes as his new team drew 1-1 with DC United.
