New York Knicks – Playoffs Still an Option
In one of the most up & down seasons we’ve seen from the New York Knicks in recent years, the playoffs are still something they can reach but it’s not up to the them, as the 108-100 win over the Toronto Raptors keeps them in the race, but with their destiny in someone else’s hands.

Miami Heat – LeBron James Taking Care of Business
There have been bigger games for the Miami Heat in recent years, but it felt like at least for this season, there has been no better moment for LeBron James to shine, leading his team to a 98-86 win over the Indiana Pacers, and once again capturing the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
-
San Antonio Spurs – Business as Usual
What seemed to be one of the best rivalries in the NBA for a while is now quite on sided as the San Antonio Spurs pick up their ninth consecutive win over the Dallas Mavericks (109-100) and on the way setting a new franchise record for wins on the road in a season (30) not to mention moving a step closer towards clinching the top spot in the West.
-
Golden State Warriors – It’s All Falling Apart
It’s hard to see the Golden State Warriors not making the postseason despite their disappointing form of late, but Kenneth Faried hitting a game winner and cancelling out what would have been one by Stephen Curry led the Denver Nuggets to a 100-99 win and plenty of worries for a team that had bigger expectations than struggling to clinch a playoff spot.

Chicago Bulls – Joakim Noah Makes Them Championship Contenders
Usually a guy who isn’t a superstar can’t carry an OK team all the way. But Joakim Noah doesn’t have to produce huge scoring nights in order to make the Chicago Bulls a team someone you should consider as potential NBA champions, or at least the ones to come out of the Eastern conference, pulling off triple doubles left and right in order to prove so, the latest coming in a 102-87 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Houston Rockets – James Harden is Embarrassing & Jeremy Lin Suffers For it
This isn’t what a team thinking about challenging for the title looks like, and a “superstar” like James Harden can’t be playing this badly and keep on doing the same thing as the Houston Rockets lose 123-116 to the Denver Nuggets, as Jeremy Lin was the only bright spot from the starting lineup that was benched for most of the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma City Thunder – No Highlights, Better Basketball
When it comes to highlights, no team in the NBA can put up so many in one game like the Los Angeles Clippers with the aerial duo of Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. But when it comes to basketball, and having a player that can win the game like he hasn’t just had an awful shooting night? The Oklahoma City Thunder, with Kevin Durant and a lot of Russell Westbrook, have the edge there, winning 107-101.
-
Indiana Pacers – Who Needs Starters?
The Indiana Pacers looked at their recent struggles and decided that resting their starters will fix everything, deciding that a game against the Milwaukee Bucks is the perfect opportunity to test the theory. Evan Turner and Luis Scola carried the offense throughout, and Chris Copeland scored a game winning shot to come through 104-102.
-
Miami Heat – Couldn’t Hold On to Home Court Advantage
It’s not that surprising that the Miami Heat lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 107-102; it’s an acceptable road loss. However, the timing of it was awful, costing them the top spot in the Eastern conference, and all of the points LeBron James scored really didn’t make a difference.

Houston Rockets – James Harden on Fire, Jeremy Lin a Little Less
There was never going to be a lot of defense as the Houston Rockets clashed with the Los Angeles Lakers, and no surprises whatsoever happened with the Rockets winning 145-130 with an excellent performance from both James Harden and Terrence Jones while Jeremy Lin was a bit more in the background, not taking advantage of not getting enough of a chance to put up the big numbers almost everyone seemed to do against the Lakers.
