College Football – Florida vs Alabama Predictions
This used to be not just the biggest game in the SEC but in the whole of College Football not too long ago, but at the moment, Florida heading to Tuscaloosa to play with Alabama feels like putting a heavyweight prize fighter with a flyweight amateur in the same boxing ring.

Auburn Over Kansas State – SEC Spreading its Dominance
Things didn’t exactly run smoothly for Auburn on their visit to Kansas State, but thanks to some big plays on defense and too many missed field goals by Jake Cantele the Tigers came away with a 20-14 win and brought another win over a ranked team in a non-conference game for the SEC.

College Football – Auburn vs Kansas State Predictions
The biggest of the non-conference games in week 4 and one of only two between ranked teams, Auburn (number 5) visiting Kansas State (number 20) will be a clash of undefeated programs who’ll also be once again testing just how good the SEC really is, but also setting themselves up for recognition when it’s time for the playoff selection.

College Football – 2014 Week 3 Rankings
No change in the first five spots of the latest top 25 rankings, meaning Florida State, Oregon, Alabama, Oklahoma and Auburn didn’t move whether they played or not, but Georgia fell seven spots after losing to South Carolina, getting a 10-spot surge up the rankings. Virginia Tech and Louisville lost to unranked teams, costing them a spot among the elite, meaning Nebraska and Oklahoma State fill in their place.
-
UCLA Over Texas – From Humiliation to Frustration
Things aren’t getting any better for Texas who looked a bit more respectable in a 20-17 loss to UCLA, but it did come against a backup quarterback in Jerry Neuheisel while the team actually managed to somehow mess up a coin toss and give up their possession on both kick offs.
-
Oklahoma Over Tennessee – The SEC Has No Power Here
Two old powers in College Football, but not really in the same place right now in terms of quality and also ambitions. Oklahoma didn’t have too much trouble beating an SEC team in Tennessee, coming away with a 34-10 victory in which they easily got points through Trevor Knight and made it a nightmarish game for Justin Worley.
-
South Carolina Over Georgia – Some Things Never Change
No matter what happened early on in the season; it didn’t matter that Todd Gurley was on fire once again. Georgia constantly play way below their usual level when on the road against South Carolina, and the 2014 edition of the SEC East rivalry was no different, as the Gamecocks came away with the 38-35 win, kicking their division and SEC aspirations back into high gear.
-
Boston College Over USC – There’s a First Time for Everything
Being ranked and dubbed huge favorites for a road game at Chestnut Hill didn’t mean a thing in the end as Boston College, led by some great defense and the running of quarterback Tyler Murphy, pulled off a huge upset by beating number 9 ranked USC 37-31, marking it as the first time the Eagles have ever beaten the Trojans anywhere.
-
College Football – Upsets Start Messing Up the Rankings
None of the popular picks for national title and the playoffs have lost, but major upsets are happening nonetheless, as USC lost for the first time this season to Boston College of all teams, Georgia were derailed by South Carolina and East Carolina carried on with their impressive season by surprising Virginia Tech.

College Football – Tennessee vs Oklahoma Predictions
Two major programs meeting each other for the first time in the regular season. Oklahoma, number 4 in the nation, are pretty big favorites to pick up a win against Tennessee, who aren’t here representing the SEC, but mostly their efforts to try and show that their rebuild is going in the right direction.
