Two huge matches to draw the attention in the Champions League round of 16, as Arsenal were once again drawn to play against the title holders, Bayern Munich, who they were knocked out by last season, while Barcelona and Manchester City clashing should provide a very interesting matchup as well.

2014 World Cup Match Schedule
The group stage draw for the 2014 World Cup did create one group of death (Group D with Uruguay, Italy and England together) and put together quite a few interesting teams together, with matches that do deserve to get the kind of attention the knockout stage matches usually get, even giving us a repeat of the previous’ World Cup final with Spain and the Netherlands coming together.

Any hope of a comeback? Not too many believe in it, as it seems, carrying a two goal deficit into an away match against the best defense in Europe. Bayern Munich seem to be as good as clear in the quarterfinals, while Arsenal are torn between waiting for a miracle and their own problems in the Premier league.

It’s funny to think as a premier Bundesliga side going in as underdogs to a two-leg encounter with a Turkish side, but Schalke were in that position before the first leg, in which they had ample opportunities through counter attacking to end Galatasaray’s chances in the Champions League, but left enough of an opening to make it an exciting second leg.
