NBA Scores & Standings
On a rather short NBA night what stood out was the Houston Rockets making a nice comeback behind James Harden and Josh Smith to beat the Dallas Mavericks, the Toronto Raptors crushing the Los Angeles Clippers and another hot Western team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, getting stunned by the Brooklyn Nets. The Boston Celtics beating the Philadelphia 76ers? That’s not news.

NBA News – Cleveland Cavaliers Problems Helpful for the Chicago Bulls
For the second time this season, the Chicago Bulls beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, as their win, this time in the Quickens Loans Arena to the chorus of some boos by the home fans, exposes some developing issues for the Eastern conference leaders, that the firing of David Blatt, possibly at the orchestration of LeBron James and the new head coach, Tyronn Lue, isn’t going to make disappear.

Jeremy Lin Can be Just Like Kemba Walker for the Charlotte Hornets, but Better
There’s no competition between Jeremy Lin and Kemba Walker. Each one’s success is good for the Charlotte Hornets. But some games make the difference between the two players so easy to spot it’s impossible to ignore then.

NBA Scores & Standings
While the storm rages in the East, cancelling two games, the most interesting place in the NBA on Saturday was Cleveland, where the Cavaliers lost their first game after firing David Blatt to the team that usually handles them pretty well in the regular season: The Chicago Bulls. The Charlotte Hornets with the Lin-Walker combo won two games in a row for the first time in a month, the Phoenix Suns needed a miracle shot to actually win a game and while inconsistent as anyone right now, the Portland Trail Blazers are fun to watch with their dynamic backcourt duo that lit up the Los Angeles Lakers.

Cleveland Cavaliers – LeBron James in a Generous Mood
It seems that the rattling the Cleveland Cavaliers took at home is gone and forgotten, as they carry on their rehabbing from the unpleasant experience by beating the Los Angeles Clippers 115-102, behind the entire starting lineup scoring in double figures and LeBron James feeling like he wants a lot of assists.

NBA Scores & Standings
The most impressive teams on a short Thursday night of NBA basketball were the Cleveland Cavaliers, led by a generous LeBron James against the Los Angeles Clippers, and the San Antonio Spurs in an easy, as expected, win over the sad looking Phoenix Suns.

NBA Rumors – Chicago Bulls Have Only Pau Gasol to Trade
It’s quite clear this season is not going as planned for the Chicago Bulls. The Joakim Noah injury, Derrick Rose struggling and overall an inconsistency on both ends of the floor. Pau Gasol, who might bolt for nothing at the end of this season, is probably the only player worth trading at the moment.

NBA Rumors – Golden State Warriors Destroying Everything in Their Path
The Golden State Warriors tour of destruction continues as they storm through the United Center, leaving a bruised and beaten Chicago Bulls team following the 125-94 demolition.

Jeremy Lin Good, Kemba Walker Decent, Charlotte Hornets Don’t Improve
The Charlotte Hornets lose, expectedly, to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 109-95. Kemba Walker did OK. Jeremy Lin was fine, and maybe even more than that coming off the bench. But this wasn’t a game the Hornets were supposed to win, going into the game just waiting to get it over with, especially with Nicolas Batum finishing with 0 points.
