10 Oldest NBA Players
The list of the ten oldest players beginning the 2012-2013 NBA season has a few certain future hall of fame inductees on it, like Tim Duncan, Steve Nash, Ray Allen and Jason Kidd. There are two players over the age of 40, Grant Hill and Kurt Thomas but the most impressive fact is the New York Knicks having four of these players, including Rasheed Wallace coming out of retirement.

Rajon Rondo’s fantastic night against the Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls was only the sixth triple double this season by an NBA player, with Rondo going for 32 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists. He is the first player this year to notch multiple triple double games, which seem to be more and more of a rarity these days.

Is it still a surprise? Dirk Nowitzki scored 40 points last night for the Dallas Mavericks, his second 40+ night in the series and his 7th post season 40 night in his career. He led a crazy comeback by the Mavs, turning a 15 point deficit with five minutes to go into a 112-105 overtime win, a 3-1 series lead and one win away from their first NBA finals since 2006, the year of the great collapse.
