The man is in better shape than anyone else in the NBA right now, and was the main reason the Oklahoma City Thunder won for a sixth straight time.

One loss, two losses, home loss, it doesn’t matter. So early in the season, things are rarely what they turn out to be six months from now, in May. But Russell Westbrook is struggling once again, and maybe it has to do with the fact that the Oklahoma City Thunder don’t have James Harden anymore, or anyone who can be the main ball handler besides him.

As good as James Harden was last season for the Oklahoma City Thunder, he’s not as great of a player as he thinks he is. Breaking the financial boundaries for your third best player isn’t a no-no for a small market team, so the Thunder traded the 2012 Sixth Man of the Year to Houston Rockets for Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb and draft picks.

On Kevin Martin Stopping Durant, Westbrook and Thunder
Kevin Martin finished with 32 points, but he was stuck on 30 all through the fourth quarter, before heading to the line with 23 second on the clock, hitting both shots and giving the Houston Rockets a 96-95 lead. Both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had a chance to win it for the Oklahoma City Thunder, but both missed.
