Worst Teams in NBA Have Something to Offer
Even when you’re one of the worst teams in the NBA, like the Washington Wizards, Orlando Magic and Charlotte Bobcats obviously are, there are always players (like Kemba Walker and Glen Davis) or aspects to your game you can feel proud of.

Boston Celtics – Enjoying the Rajon Rondo Triple Double
When Rajon Rondo gets a triple double, which has now happened three times this season and 16 times in his career with the Boston Celtics, they’e almost guaranteed a win.

Miami Heat – A Historic December for LeBron James
Most of the attention went to Dwyane Wade, who actually outscored his teammate, LeBron James for once. Not for the right reasons though, as the most memorable thing to come out of the Miami Heat winning on the road was Wade kicking Ramon Sessions in the groin, and getting away with it.

Charlotte Bobcats – Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is the Real Deal
There’s isn’t too much to be happy about for the Charlotte Bobcats this season, currently in the middle of a 13 game losing streak. Bright spots? Not too much, but rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, despite his inconsistency, seems to be one. With his 25 points, 12 rebounds game in yet another loss, he becomes the second player to post those numbers twice before his 20th birthday, joining LeBron James.

Byron Mullens With the Best Dunk of the NBA Season
We’re only about a month into the new NBA season, but it’s never too soon handing out awards that get updated as we go along. This time? Dunk of the season, which as of last night, belongs to Byron Mullens of the Charlotte Bobcats, with a nasty throw down in the face of LaMarcus Aldridge.

Charlotte Bobcats – From Worst in the NBA to …?
The 2011-2012 version of the Charlotte Bobcats wasn’t just the worst in the NBA, it was the worst in NBA history. Finishing the season on a 23 game losing streak, the Bobcats posted a 7-59 record, winning a record low 10.6% of their games. A shortened season didn’t help them, and having Michael Jordan as an owner didn’t help them, as it hasn’t for most of the franchise’s existence.

Trade Scenarios for the 2012 NBA Draft
Anthony Davis is the only sure thing in this draft, the wall-to-wall agreed upon number one pick. Beyond that? Just a bunch of questions, including at number 2 where the Charlotte Bobcats don’t really know what to do with their pick. Keep it and go for Thomas Robinson? Trade down and go for someone else who doesn’t want to play for them?

Dark Side of the Moon – The NBA No One Wanted to See This Season
The New Jersey Nets are leaving to Brooklyn, and it doesn’t look like a lot of people are too sad. The NBA’s popularity didn’t take such a hit, maybe not at all, as many expected after the lockout delayed the opening of the 2011-2012 season by almost two months.

Charlotte Bobcats, Worst Team With the Worst Owner?
The Charlotte Bobcats, owned by Michael Jordan, didn’t just have a bad season like almost every other team has once in a year. They had the worst season in NBA history, going 7-59; a win percentage of 10.6% compared to the previous mark of 9-73 (10.97%) the Philadelphia 76ers set during the 1972-1973 season.

Cancelling the Lottery Might Stop NBA Tanking
Tanking is one of the illnesses of professional basketball, professional sports in general. The chase for Andrew Luck in the NFL was another example of how the draft, combined with bad seasons, just doesn’t give these teams an incentive to win. The NFL doesn’t have a lottery, but usually, one player doesn’t change the fate of a franchise.
