2015 College Football Season – Rankings Need a New Number One
Maybe Ohio State are still undefeated, but their ability in most of their recent wins suggest we might need a new number one team to top the rankings. TCU or Baylor, constantly putting up huge offensive numbers might be next in line, as Michigan State don’t look too impressive as well while Utah, rounding up the top 5, have done the most with the toughest schedule. Week 6 wasn’t about upsets except for Texas stunning former #10 Oklahoma, but more about narratives and storylines, especially the one Michigan have been developing.

2015 College Football Season – Week 5 Rankings
The top 25 is once again headed by Ohio State following week 5 but they’re losing first place votes after an unimpressive win over lowly Indiana. TCU and Baylor are picking up steam thanks to big Big 12 wins, Utah join the top 5 without even playing, Clemson enter the top 10 after beating Notre Dame, who suffer a massive drop, just like Ole Miss and UCLA. Toledo and Iowa make their rankings debut, while Wisconsin, Mississippi State and West Virginia get dropped.

College Football – SEC Upsets Will Completely Change the Rankings
The SEC wasn’t the only conference with big losses, but Alabama getting dropped by Ole Miss at home and LSU crushing Auburn will have the biggest effect on the rankings, although Ohio State struggling to beat Northern Illinois, USC messing up against Stanford and Notre Dame coming away with a big win over Georgia Tech won’t go unnoticed either.

2015 College Football Season – Week 2 Rankings
The top 3 remains unchanged following week 2 as Ohio State, Alabama and TCU cruise against weak teams. Michigan State make a small but meaningful jump after beating Oregon, who along with Auburn took the big plummets of the week, as the Tigers struggling against an FCS team costs them 12 spots. BYU, Oklahoma State and Northwestern make their first appearances in the top 25 this season, filling in for three SEC teams that dropped out: Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi State.

College Football – Rankings Starting to Change From Upsets and Close Calls
Teams like Ohio State, Alabama, TCU and Baylor are in the clear for now. Michigan State got rid of Oregon in what should lead to some major rankings change, Auburn almost lost to an FCS team which says something about their bid and hope of winning the SEC and making the College Football Playoffs while others, like USC, LSU and maybe Georgia, Florida State and Clemson are hoping they find themselves in the discussion at some point.

2015 College Football Season – Week 1 Rankings
Not a lot of changes in the first top 25 of the season, as Ohio State remain the #1 team compared to preseason following a win over Virginia Tech, while the SEC puts a record 10 teams in the rankings, including Alabama, Auburn and Georgia in the top 10. Arizona State, Stanford and Wisconsin dropped from the rankings following losses, allowing Texas A&M, Utah and Mississippi State to climb in.

College Football – Upsets Won’t Shake Up Rankings Too Much
The first weekend of the 2015 College Football season won’t give us a major shakeup to the preseason rankings, as the losses by Stanford, Arizona State and Wisconsin are all by teams outside the top 14, while favorites to contend for a playoff spot like TCU, Alabama, Baylor and Michigan State didn’t run in to any problems.
-
College Football – Preseason Rankings
Preseason rankings don’t mean anything and yet they interest us so much heading into the 2015 season, with Ohio State, the national champions, getting all the first place votes while the top 5 is rounded off with TCU, Alabama, Baylor and Michigan State.
-
College Football – Preseason Coaches Rankings
The first coaches poll of the season, the preseason one, means that the 2015 College Football season is just around the corner, with national champions Ohio State looking like the on-paper favorites at the moment, although TCU & Alabama also get mentioned.

Categorizing the Starting Quarterback Situation for NFL Teams Heading into the 2015 Season
NFL teams are about to start training camps to prepare for the 2015 NFL season. Some teams, like the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts, know they have quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck that are going to carry them towards the next decade without a problem. Other teams like the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints with Tom Brady and Drew Brees know that at some point, the good times are going to end. And then there are others, like the Buffalo Bills or Cleveland Browns, who have no idea who their starting quarterback is going to be, not exactly flooded with great options.
