2014 NFL Season – Week 4 Power Rankings
The best team in the NFL right now, the Cincinnati Bengals, had a bye week. So did the Seahawks and Broncos, while the San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens belong in that elite list for now, while the Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders both look like the two worst teams, deserving the bottom of the power rankings.

The main focus this week was on the Seattle Seahawks beating the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl rematch, but the best team right now in the NFL looks like the Cincinnati Bengals, topping the power rankings, with the San Diego Chargers not too far behind. The Super Bowl champions have lost, which means that despite not having the smoothest of victories, the Denver Broncos look like the team to beat at the moment, followed by a very solid Cincinnati Bengals who lost their best wide receiver. At the bottom of the tower stand the pathetic Oakland Raiders, getting a strong competition from the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Once a franchise savior, Robert Griffin III is now a quarterback that everyone keeps waiting for him to play like before but probably can’t. Kirk Cousins stepped up for him and not for the first time showed he’s much better in the current offensive system the Washington Redskins are using, and it didn’t hurt to face a team as bad as the Jacksonville Jaguars, coming away with the 41-10 victory.

The original plan was that the Jacksonville Jaguars start Chad Henne at quarterback to begin this season while Blake Bortles takes him time to develop. The training camp and preseason performances might make it a bit more difficult to carry on with that plan.
