Cleveland Cavaliers – LeBron James Not Regretting Trading Andrew Wiggins
It was the first time Kevin Love played against his former team. Andrew Wiggins had a chance to face the team that drafted and traded him. In between all of that was an actual basketball game, won by the Cleveland Cavaliers 125-104 as LeBron James and Kyrie Irving proved to be too much for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

NBA Rumors – Cleveland Cavaliers & Houston Rockets Trying to Trade for Corey Brewer
With their team falling apart due to injuries, the Minnesota Timberwolves are finally inclined to make a trade for Corey Brewer, with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets leading the pack in terms of those with the best chance of acquiring him.

Golden State Warriors – Nothing Can Slow Them Down
If anyone was expecting the Golden State Warriors to stop their winning streak at some point, it wasn’t going to happen on a visit to the Minnesota Timberwolves, led by the usual contributions of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, en route to a comfortable 102-86 win.

Philadelphia 76ers – The Wait is Finally Over
The Philadelphia 76ers are still the worst team in the NBA, but at least they’ve stopped the losing, at least for one night, picking up their first win this season by beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 85-77, led by a fantastic Michael Carter-Williams and a red-hot Robert Convington coming off the bench.

Houston Rockets – Andrew Wiggins Dominating James Harden Isn’t Enough
You don’t have to be an elite defender to make James Harden shoot poorly from the field. Andrew Wiggins certainly made it difficult for the (probably) best shooting guard in the NBA, but it wasn’t enough for the Minnesota Timberwolves against the red hot Houston Rockets, carrying on with their winning ways, this time 113-101 on the road.

Ricky Rubio is Stunned by the Nonsense Nikola Pekovic Says
Maybe it was the win that got Nikola Pekovic giddy, but the Minnesota Timberwolves center made no sense when speaking to the media after beating the Brooklyn Nets, shocking/amusing Ricky Rubio who was sitting right next to him, not exactly sure what he was hearing.

Minnesota Timberwolves – Too Young & Fast For the Old Brooklyn Nets
What’s better to have in the NBA – youth or experience? Probably depends on the talent. The Brooklyn Nets have guys who used to be great, but not so much anymore. They allowed the Minnesota Timberwolves to slip away with a 98-91 road win, scoring the final nine points of the game in a very enjoyable performance from one of the most fun to watch teams in the league.
-
Chicago Bulls – Jimmy Butler Teaches Andrew Wiggins a Lesson
The Minnesota Timberwolves almost got away with a narrow win over the Chicago Bulls thanks to a clutch 3-pointer from Kevin Martin, but Jimmy Butler teaching Andrew Wiggins a thing or two about staying on your feet and not being overzealous to block a shot cost them the home victory.

Minnesota Timberwolves – More Than Just the Most Fun Team in the NBA
It’s not quite clear how good the Minnesota Timberwolves will be this season, but adding Andrew Wiggins to this team to go along with Ricky Rubio, rookie Zach LaVine and generally having a creative and very fast group coming together might be the most fun team to watch in the league this season, although playing against the sad tank job of the Philadelphia 76ers isn’t exactly indicative of anything, especially in the preseason.

Minnesota Timberwolves – Andrew Wiggins Shows There’s Plenty to be Excited About
The number one draft pick in 2014 wasn’t on the winning side of his NBA preseason debut, but Andrew Wiggins did everything expected of him and more playing his first game for the Minnesota Timberwolves as they lost to the Indiana Pacers. Who knows, maybe his abilities will be able to hide the fact that Ricky Rubio still looks awful when it comes to scoring.
