  • Luol Deng & Bulls Keep Winning the Hard Way

Luol Deng keeps doing what everyone on the Chicago Bulls has been doing of late – finding ways to win without their best player, their biggest star, the reigning (and exiting) MVP, Derrick Rose. This time, Deng hit a buzzer beating shot to give the Bulls a 102-101 win over the Toronto Raptors in overtime.

  • Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith With the Double Alley-Oop

J.R. Smith is incredible, maybe the most impressive dunker in the NBA. Iman Shumpert has made more than a slight impression with his energy and athleticism off the bench during his rookie season with the New York Knicks. In the 101-79 win over the Detriot Pistons, the two combined for one of the most impressive Alley-Oop dunks of the season.

  • The Worst Free Throw Shooters in the NBA

Dwight Howard may be the best Center in the NBA, claiming that title for a few years now. It doesn’t make him perfect, as the Orlando Magic franchise man plummeted to new lows this season with his free throw shooting, seeing 50% from the bottom. He’s still not the worst in the league.

  • When Kevin Love Looks Like The Best Big Man in the NBA

Kevin Love isn’t the best big man in the league, and he might not even be the best power forward. His numbers tell a slightly different story, and after scoring 51 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder, enough to push the Western conference leaders to a double overtime, 149-140 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, who can argue?

  • Chris Paul Doesn’t Enjoy Hornets Hospitality

Chris Paul thought his visit to New Orleans against the worst team in the Western Conference would go a little easier, a little better. Nothing is easy for the Los Angeles Clippers these days, losing their third straight game on the road and their ninth in March, slipping to the sixth spot in the Western conference after a 97-90 defeat against the Hornets.

  • How Far Can the Lakers Go With Kobe Bryant?

Kobe Bryant wants that sixth NBA championship ring more than anything. Just like the six MJ has. On some nights, like the Lakers’ 109-93 win over the Dallas Mavericks, it looks like the Lakers have found the right direction to go with. The right kind of blend, of inside-outside basketball, with #24 excelling in the clutch.

  • The Chicago Bulls, Even Without Derrick Rose, Look Like the Team to Beat in the East

Derrick Rose missed his fourth straight game, but the Chicago Bulls have gotten used to their star missing sitting on the sidelines with some kind of injury this season. He has already missed 14 games in 2011-2012, after missing a total of five in his previous three seasons in the league. As yet another win proved, this time a beat-down of the Orlando Magic, the Bulls have enough to handle the load, even without their MVP.

  • Nothing New About Dwyane Wade Taking Over in the Fourth

Dwyane Wade led the Heat in scoring with 31 points, but most importantly in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 in the final period. Chris Bosh had his best game since returing from mourning, while LeBron James had an impressive stat line in all but scoring as Miami beat the visiting Orlando Magic 91-81.

  • Life is Good for the Knicks Under Mike Woodson

No D’Antoni, and business is booming for the New York Knicks, who decided to go with their players, mostly Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire, who were unhappy with whatever was going down with their former head coach. Under Mike Woodson? No losses so far, and Jeremy Lin is not shocking anyone. He might not be superstarish each night, but he’s more than good enough to lead the Knicks on some night.

  • NBA Trade Deadline 2012 – All the Deals

No big deals except for the Monta Ellis – Andrew Bogut trade (along with some spare parts), as the 2012 NBA trade deadline went and gone without the big splash of last year (Carmelo Anthony, remember), as the major players – Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol and Josh Smith if you will stayed put, while team mostly messed around with minor changes.
