    Ramires struck early, Drogba seemed to put the game away early in the second half, Andy Carroll brought a lot of hope with his goal, but that’s where it stopped. Carroll may or may have not scored a ghost goal that Phil Dowd didn’t allow, and Chlesea hung on to win the FA Cup with a 2-1 win.

    Liverpool were good enough to actually beat Stoke, something that doesn’t usually happen since Stoke have been promoted and become something of a regular fixture, for good and bad of the English Premier League. Luis Suarez found the net, and even Stewart Downing, with Peter Crouch scoring against his ex in between. It didn’t help much, as a possible Merseyside derby looms ahead for Kenny Dalglish and Steven Gerrard.

    One year ago, when Kenny Dalglish made his return at the manager position with Liverpool, he saw Steven Gerrard sent off because of a dive which got Howard Webb to use his highly unstable sense of judgement and send Gerrard off. Manchester United enjoyed Chris Foy’s terrible decision making to help them beat Manchester City 3-2 in the FA Cup.
