Since the inception of the European Cup, later turning into the Champions League, 39 clubs have appeared in at least one final. Four of these clubs are no longer in their country’s top flight:
-
Match Highlights – Aston Villa vs Manchester United (Premier League)
A poor, event-less and boring match. Sounds familiar? Manchester United aren’t thrilling or anything close to that, but they keep on winning, beating Aston Villa 1-0 through a slick Adnan Januzaj goal.

Liverpool FC – Christian Benteke is Hopefully a Good Way to Spend that Raheem Sterling Money
So Liverpool didn’t wait long to spend that Raheem Sterling money, using most of it to sign Christian Benteke from Aston Villa, in a transfer that more than anything might define and decide Brendan Rodgers and his tenure at the club.

Transfer Rumors 2015 – Liverpool Interested in Signing James Milner & Fabian Delph
There’s no doubt that if Liverpool are going to compete for a top four position, they will probably have to dive into the transfer market and improve. Right now, it seems as if James Milner of Manchester City and to a lesser degree Fabian Delph of Aston Villa are their preferred targets.

Match Highlights – Chelsea vs Aston Villa, Manchester United vs West Ham
The Premier League leaders had no problem in a 3-0 home win over Aston Villa, as Chelsea enjoyed goals from Oscar, Diego Costa and Willian to walk away victorious while Manchester United, as always, barely scrape through a 2-1 win after leading through Wayne Rooney (sent off later on) and Robin van Persie, before Diafra Sakho made things interesting.

Match Highlights – Aston Villa vs Arsenal, Deportivo vs Real Madrid
Four minutes of dominance were enough for Arsenal to finally capture a Premier League win, beating Aston Villa 3-0 as the Mesut Ozil – Dannye Welbeck connection worked especially well. Another team bouncing back from a rough time are Real Madrid, destroying Deportivo 8-2 with a hat trick from Cristiano Ronaldo and braces for both Gareth Bale and Javier Hernandez.

Match Highlights – Liverpool vs Aston Villa, Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid
Some recent trends don’t seem to change. Aston Villa once again won at Anfield against Liverpool thanks to a Gabriel Agbonlahor goal in the first half, while Atletico Madrid continued their excellent streak of success against Real Madrid, coming through in the second half with a victory goal from Arda Turan.

Match Highlights – Manchester City vs Aston Villa
They can almost taste it at Manchester City, beating Aston Villa 4-0 which means they rise to the top of the Premier League table, two points ahead of their title race rivals, following a tense and difficult, not to mention goalless first half, with a fantastic display in the second one as Edin Dzeko came through once again with two goals and an encore provided by Stevan Jovetic and a brilliant finish from Yaya Toure.
-
Chelsea FC – Jose Mourinho is Right to Complain About Chris Foy
Most of the times what we get from Jose Mourinho are mind games, but even through his attempts to help Chelsea out by the things he says in the media, blurbs of truth and honesty come out. His team might not have won, but there’s no doubt they were set back by some terrible officiating from Chris Foy and his crew.

Match Highlights – Aston Villa vs Chelsea
The 1-0 win for Aston Villa against Chelsea might turn out to be one of the most important results in the Premier League championship race, with Fabian Delph scoring a cheeky winner and both Willian and Ramires not finishing the match, getting sent off along with their manager, Jose Mourinho.
