NFL Rumors – Atlanta Falcons & Indianapolis Colts Interested in Drafting Darian Thompson
After an excellent college career at Boise State, safety Darian Thompson is picking up more and more interest as draft day approaches, with the two teams showing the most zeal to pick him are the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts.

College Football Realignment – Big 12 Needs a Championship Game; Maybe Expand?
The blow of being left out of the College Football playoff has the Big 12 in some sort of panic, which includes contemplating expansion and a return to realignment, which includes teams like Boise State, Memphis, Cincinnati and UCF being considered among others.

Ole Miss Over Boise State – Bad Game, Happy Ending
Playing on a “neutral field” in the South didn’t really help Boise State as they enter a new era, probably one with less success than before. The Broncos were routed 35-13 by Ole Miss in the Georgia Dome, despite Bo Wallace not having the most accurate of performances.

Oregon State Beats Boise State – It’s Been a While
Winning the Hawai’i Bowl by beating Boise State 38-23 isn’t going to take away from the very poor finish Oregon State had to this season, but it’s probably quite a relief to win a bowl game for the first time since that awful Sun Bowl five years ago, maybe setting off the program with a good feeling into what hopefully will be a better next season.

Big East Football – New Look Two Division Schedule
The Big East is being reshaped, torn apart and built up again. What comes out in the end of all the realignment in College Football, with the Big East as the big losers among the AQ conferences, although frankly, they’re not even close to the rest of the big five conferences? For now, it’s a two division conference, with 12 teams, some of them on their way out.

Ohio State Buckeyes – Undefeated Doesn’t Mean Champions
Shouldn’t a 12-0 season in the Big Ten mean something? Not when Ohio State are serving bowl bans and eligibility for a conference title ban as well. This isn’t the first time over the last few years that a team will finish the season undefeated but out of reach of BCS glory. This isn’t the first time it’s happened to Urban Meyer as well.
