2016 College Basketball Season – Rankings Don’t Change Much, For Now
The week 7 rankings of the AP Poll give us a similar lead in the top 25 to the previous week, with Michigan State holding on to the number one spot and the top 3, which include Kansas at number two and Oklahoma at number three, is unchanged. Kentucky fall to number 12 after their loss while Duke fall to number 15.

Bo Ryan to Coach Wisconsin Basketball One, Probably Final, Season
After two Final Four appearances back to back, including losing in one national championship game, Bo Ryan is staying at Wisconsin for one more season to coach the Badgers, although it’s probably going to be his goodbye from Madison and College Basketball in general.

College Basketball: Final Rankings of the 2013-2014 Season
The end to the 2014 NCAA Tournament means the end of the College Basketball season as well, and final rankings being handed out. Traditionally, the national champions, UConn, get the number one spot with the losers in the final, Kentucky, taking the runner-up position, although it’s probably clear to most they weren’t the best teams in the country.

2014 College Basketball Season – Week 6 Rankings
Despite struggling against UNLV at home, Arizona dominated the polls and landed its first top spot in a decade thanks to their 9-0 record and wins over Duke and San Diego State earlier on. The Wildcats lead a foursome with an undefeated record – Syracuse, Ohio State and Wisconsin.

The 2013 NCAA Tournament Bracket – 68 Team Edition
All four number one seeds in the 2013 NCAA tournament, Louisville, Kansas, Indiana and Gonzaga, aren’t repeats from last year. The 68 team field kicks off with the first four on March 19 & 20, with the second round, the actual tournament in its original form of 64 teams, begins on March 21.

The pre-draft camp in Chicago is usually somewhat of market of College Basketball players trying to improve their stocks heading into the next NBA Draft. Thomas Robinson, after three years with the Kansas Jayhawks, believes his College Career has been good enough to make him the no.1 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, ahead of Anthony Davis.

Lamb Too Much To Handle – Kentucky Win First National Championship Since 1998
John Calipari won his first national title after three unsuccessful previous trips to the final four, leading Kentucky to their first title since 1998, despite the best player in 2011-2012, Anthony Davis, scoring only one field goal against a fighting Kansas Jayhawks team, that just didn’t have enough to keep up with the speed and talent of the Wildcats.

Anthony Davis & Kentucky One Win Away From Glory
Anthony Davis had to be great all night long, while the future NBA players around him had trouble dominating for long stretches. The Freshman led Kentucky to a 69-61 win over Louisville in the opening game of the Final Four, making it to the national finals for the first time since 1998, which was the last time the title went to the Big Blue nation.

Uconn and Jim Calhoun became the first NCAA champion to bow down in the first round of next year’s NCAA tournament since UCLA in 1996, as the Iowa State Cyclones jumped the Huskies from the start and never let go of a big lead. This was only an upset because of the names of the program, but with no actual shocking bracket busters on the opening night of the 2012 NCAA tourney, the Cyclones made the biggest splash.
