Oklahoma City Thunder – Scott Brooks is Fired; College Basketball Coach is Next
The rumors were circulating about Scott Brooks getting fired from the moment the Oklahoma City Thunder failed to make the NBA playoffs. A week to mull it over, and Sam Presti pulled the trigger. Oklahoma City Thunder – Russell Westbrook Keeps Hurting his own Team
Losing back-to-back with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in the lineup is new to the Oklahoma City Thunder, getting blown out (104-83) for a second consecutive game, this time by the Sacramento Kings, making us all wonder about whether or not they really are good enough to still contend for the NBA title.

Oklahoma City Thunder – Scott Brooks Isn’t Going Anywhere
Things are seen quite differently by even the most knowledgeable of NBA fans and people who actually work in the league – general managers and head coaches. NBA Playoffs – Oklahoma City Thunder Giving up on Thabo Sefolosha, Raising Reggie Jackson
It seems Scott Brooks is finally making adjustments, something he’s always been criticized for not doing and relying on the talent of his players to make up for tactical ability from their head coach. Not that he’s not still putting the ball in the hands of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, but he has made changes to his lineup that weren’t doomed to fail from the beginning, as the return of Serge Ibaka enabled him to give up on Thabo Sefolosha and insert Reggie Jackson into the starting lineup.

NBA Playoffs – San Antonio Spurs in Control, Oklahoma City Thunder in Trouble
This was the kind of offensive display the San Antonio Spurs were hoping to get against a weakened Oklahoma City Thunder defense, helping Tim Duncan early on and Manu Ginobili later in game 1 to dominate and find points with ease in a dominating 122-105 victory to take a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference finals over a team that has only one lineup that works defensively and a Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook duo that need plenty of help.
